(Ages 6 weeks-2 years) 9 am & 11 am

At Renovation Kids, our mission is to help kids find, follow and be like Jesus. This mission begins in our nursery and extends through 5th grade. Ultimately, children are shaped spiritually in the home. Our hope is to help families feel engaged and equipped for this huge task. Each Sunday our nursery leaders provide a loving environment through reading books, putting puzzles together, playing with sensory toys or occasionally watching age-appropriate, faith-centered videos.

(Ages 2 years-PreK) 9 am & 11 am

Our mission to help kids find, follow and be like Jesus is the primary focus of all that we do in our preschool ministry. We accomplish our mission through digging into God’s Word and then integrating hands on activities which bring the lessons to life. Children will experience games, praise and worship, crafts and sensory activities as they study Bible stories and themes.

(K-5th Grade) 9 am & 11 am

The elementary-aged children at Renovation Kids begin to understand his or her place in the Body of Christ as they learn who Jesus is, how to follow Him and what it means to be like Him in everyday life. As students study Biblical concepts and stories, we teach practical application of such concepts.

Special Shepherds (As needed through 5th Grade) 9 am & 11 am

The Special Shepherd program at Renovation Kids is a program to help students who have difficulties in the classroom. A Special Shepherd Leader is a trained individual who serves children with a higher level of difficulty functioning without support, including children with physical, mild academic, behavioral and/or emotional concerns. For more information on the Special Shepherd program please contact children’s pastor, Tiffany Cronin.

WHAT EACH GATHERING LOOKS LIKE:

Each week begins with a large group time which includes worship, games, hands-on activities, and illustrations. Students also have a time to build deeper relationships in a small group setting with peers in the same grade. Our elementary group looks at building community from a local and global church perspective through mission projects and child sponsorship through International Child Care Ministries.

SOMA JR. AND SR.

At Renovation Church, we have Soma Middle (6-8th grade) and Soma High (9-12th grade).  We meet on Wednesdays from 6-8pm.  A regular night includes a game, worship, a biblical message, and small groups.  Our schedules run separately throughout the night, but both groups connect during the worship time.

Throughout the year, we will also have serve nights, retreats, summer trips, and small group nights that engage students in different ways not only with others, but with the mission of Christ.

Our greatest desire is for students to find, follow, and be like Jesus.

2018-2019 SCHEDULE

On the schedule, the left side are fun events, the bottom right notes the nights we will not meet, and the dates not listed are regular student nights.

Have questions about Renovation Students?  Feel free to shoot Pastor Scott an email at any time!

GO-min.jpg

At Renovation Church, we believe that an important spiritual formative in the life of each believer is serving God and others. Our GO ministry provides opportunities for believers of all ages to extend a hand in the name of Jesus HERE in our local church, NEAR in the surrounding communities, and FAR around the globe.

Helping Hands Men’s Ministry

Helping Hands serves those in need who are associated with Renovation Church, particularly widows, widowers, seniors, and others, by addressing tangible needs at their places of residence and encouraging intentional, long-term friendships between care givers and care receivers. The men meet once a month on a Saturday morning for snacks, devotions, and job assignments before going out to serve their care receivers.

Snack Pack Ministry at Woodland Elementary School

We partner with Woodland Elementary school to provide needy kids with a weekly backpack full of nutritionally balanced, kid-friendly, supplemental food to take home for the weekend. Those serving in our Snack Pack ministry may volunteer to purchase food, pack the Snack Packs, deliver and/or pick them up at the school each week during the school year.

Colonial Acres Mobile Home Park

Together with a team of 4 churches our goal is to love the residents of Colonial Acres, a local, disadvantaged, mobile home park, into a relationship with Jesus. We focus on the needs of different groups of residents in various ways through on-site ministries, workdays, seasonal gatherings, and camps.

Jesus Loves Kalamazoo (JLK)

Through various training, outreach, and evangelism efforts, Jesus Loves Kalamazoo is making a unified effort to bring the love and forgiveness of Jesus to our neighbors in the greater Kalamazoo area. Over 50 local churches and para-church organizations are involved in JLK. Renovation Church takes an active part in planning and hosting a grill site in Colonial Acres and participates in various other sites each summer.

Globally, the needs are endless so we concentrate our efforts in the country of Haiti and more specifically the city of Dessalines and surrounding area.

Living Water International

We send various teams through Living Water International to drill clean water wells and teach hygiene in the country of Haiti.  Renovation Church also often raises the funds needed for the installation of the wells also.

Haiti Missions Trips

We send teams to work alongside a FM Superintendent and Haitian nationals in Dessalines, Haiti. We teach VBS in schools, participate in street ministry, share our testimonies, and some preach in churches. Adults are welcome to join us on one of our mission trips. It is an opportunity not to miss and almost inevitably it will impact your life.

Global Ministries
